Anyone volunteering as a Board Member, Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Jr Coach or Team Parent interacting with players must complete the FYD Pop Warner Volunteer Registration process. There is strict adherence to this process for the safety of all participants. You must complete a background check as well as the specific training to the sport you are volunteering with.
You must have a badge if you will be in direct contact with children or if you need access to the Practice or Game field.

Photos should be a square clear headshot and will be used for your badge. No glasses or hats. Email your photo to either the football or cheer director.

Please only submit a background check after you've been approved for your role. After you submit your application we will receive a notification after your background check clears, so you don't have to do anything more here.

How do it register to volunteer/coach?
1. Login to Sports Connect (top right button on this site).
2. Click the button on the left menu that says "VOLUNTEER".
3. Click the "FIND VOLUNTEER ROLES" button in the top right hand corner.
4. Click the "Sign Up" button next to the position you're interested in. If you'd like to coach a different team from what your athlete is registered for, click "Show More" at the bottom.
Note to Board Members: It doesn't matter what team you select.
5. Click Continue
6. Select the person you are signing up (yourself or family member).
7. Upload your photo
8. Fill out the information.
9. Click Continue at the bottom
You're all set. Now get the rest of your training requirements complete and email the certifications to your cheer/football director. See the positions below for more information on what is required for each position.
HEAD COACHES
Must be 21 years old by August 1st (2020 for Spring Tackle, 2021 for Fall Tackle, 2021 for Cheer/Dance)
Can only be rostered as Head Coach on one team
